About Me

Born in Warrington and raised in Chester, I have always had that northern creative flare just like my favourite band The Beatles! My first love was music which I studied after school in college and university. My love of Photography came from a couple of months travelling Central America shortly after my father passed away. Armed with a Canon point and shoot I snapped away at everything I saw, uploading to Facebook everyday and receiving huge compliments for my images.

Soon after returning I decided to pursue Photography and purchase my first DSLR. I self tought my way around the manual settings and researched everynight at different techniques. I would often photograph my friends band The Suns (now Macca) and other live acts such as Craig Charles, Danny Dyer, Graham Park and Jaguar Skills just to name a few! The first time I took my camera to a Wedding I was a guest and kept a close eye on the Professional to see how everything worked. I took loads of photos and even the Bride and Groom had a few of them from me afterwards. Since that first wedding I started to get asked by various friends and friends of freinds if I could take some photos of their big day, I was more than happy to as I cherished the chance for more experience! One wedding led to another and after 2 years I decided to take the leap and quit my bar job and persue a career in Wedding Photography. I did some market research, business training and planning and treated myself to a big posh Canon 5D MKiii with a few lenses.

After 5 years of being a Wedding Photographer I finally got married myself in 2015, I see the whole process differently now and know how important it is to get it right to make everything run smoothly on the day. I love to meet couples during the planning stage to disuss everything as I know each wedding is unique and expectaions change all the time.
